Study of increasing spin and deformation of Pu, Cm and Cf nuclei by simulation using MCNPX code

In this work, the effects of spin increasing and core quadrupole shape changes for different nuclei using the results of MCNPX code simulations were studied. By calculating the amount of F7 in the simulations, the released energy released due to fission in the target cell was measured by increasing the energy of the neutrons. Then, using CNS calculation code, the changes in the height of the fission barrier with the increasing spin of 242Cm were studied and confirmed the simulation results by MCNPX code. Then, the effect of nuclear quadrupole shape changes on these results and its opposition with increasing spin was investigated and it was found that their results are well consistent with the results of the simulations.
